Patrons perusing Bridgetown last night had a Pantabulous time in the city.

Dancing and grooving to the soothing sounds of pan, not even intermittent showers could stop the large crowds that gathered in front Dacosta Mall and between Cave Shepard and Norman Center from having a ball and the annual ‘Pantabulous’.

The evening, which was a preview of what was to come the following evening at Pan in the City, offered patrons an opportunity to see the Holetown Harmonettes and the Pantronic perform and different locations.

At Dacosta Mall, Jacqueline Graham, a Trinidadian, seemed to be enjoying herself more than most.

“I’m from T&T so I must love the pan. I have been coming here for since 1982 for Crop Over and I absolutely l love it,” Graham said.

She also admitted that Pantabulous was not the last for her.

“I cannot miss Pan pun de sand. I go every year and this year I cannot wait,” the pan enthusiast said.

Between Cave Shepard and Norman Center, a very large crowd gathered and were clearly enjoying to the sounds of the Holetown Harmonettes.

Some danced, some sat, while others played choir for the band.

Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley also enjoyed the sweet sounds of pan.
