Pan can dun!

BS&T PAN PUN De Sand has earned its place on the Crop Over calendar as one of the more looked forward to events annually. Those who turned up on the stretch of beach called Brandons, which runs along the Spring Garden Highway, said so in their thousands yesterday.

From the opening act Eastland All Stars, signalled by emcee Aundre Wharton, to the teaming up of Mosaic and Trinidadian guests Exodus, it was sweet pan all the way.

The audience, comprising a cross section of Barbadians and visitors – young and old, also stood their ground, taking in the rhythms of local bands Pan Batuque, Reddy Panners, Tropical Steel, Holetown Harmonites and Olakunde.
