NCF meets with Sweet Soca Stakeholders

The following is a statement released by the National Cultural Foundation after a meeting today.

Officials of the National Cultural Foundation met Saturday June 23, 2012 in separate meetings with tent managers, calypsonians selected for the Semifinals of the Sweet Soca Competition and their representatives in an effort to clarify the various concerns surrounding the selection process of the Sweet Soca Semifinalists.

Acting Corporate Communications Specialist with the NCF Andre Hoyte stated that the meetings were cordial and both sides made recommendations towards an amicable and speedy resolution.
