Culture is the thrust

Positive cultural development will be the focus of the National Cultural Foundation.

Chairman Monique Taitt made this known to those who gathered at the Barbados National Bank's Broad Street branch for the launch of The Republic Bank 2012 Crop Over Opening Gala and Ceremonial Delivery of the Last Canes.

She said that as part of the NCF's strategic plan, the aim is to continue to develop both the social and economic potential of the cultural sector.
