All Stars cast in fine form

by John Sealy
The Cave Shepherd All Stars Calypso tent came out blazing for the Crop Over season 2012 at the Lester Vaughan School Saturday night.
Emcee Jennifer Walker was in hilarious form from the word "Go" and the calypsonians caught her fervour in the way they sang and interacted
with the audience.
All Stars known for its traditional calypso, delivered in a medium tempo style, still managed to capture the imagination of a section of
the audience with a few uptempo pieces: Me Nah Easy from Lana Storm, De Slayer with He is Higher and Ian Webster's Sweetness.
But for the most part it was "kaiso" down the road.
Some songs that will be creating a stir this year are Colin Spencer's jaw-dropping number We Don't Want You Back, De Announcer's Barbados Today, Webster's Hollywood Tree, Smokey Burke's Dance Alexandria and Duke ED Blameologists.
